Kule Barnabas
Leader and Co-Founder
Barnabas holds a BA in Social Work and Social Administration from Bugema University and a Diploma in Children, and Youth Development from Nzamizi Training Institute for Social Development. He has nine years of experience in children and youth development, organizational capacity building, social empowerment, growing organic food in a small space, and caring for the earth and the people. He was an African Visionary Fellow by the Segal Family Foundation and a lead coach in entrepreneurship by the Street Business School. He is skilled in fundraising, leading and organizing training and educational campaigns, community mobilization, human relations, and setting clear goals.
Through Thrive Uganda, he fosters achievement in young people and provides them with the opportunity to thrive and become transformational leaders.
Bwambale Robert
Director, Finance
Robert has a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Rwenzori College of Commerce of Uganda. He is currently pursuing a BA in Business Administration as part of his professional development. He is passionate about helping and encouraging young girls and boys to stay in school and realize their dreams no matter their situation. He is committed to continuing his support of Thrive Uganda as we realize our mission and vision where young people achieve their goals and thrive.
Mbambu Miriam
Director, Education
Miriam holds a degree in English and Literature from Kyambongo University. She is a passionate community worker and has devoted her life to inspiring young people to thrive. For two years, Miriam has been reaching out to the young people in different communities in Uganda and changing their lives through life-changing experiences of sharing and being mindful of being a good neighbor. She previously worked at Bwera Secondary School as an English and Literature Teacher.
Nyakato Pamela
Director, Psychosocial Support
PPamela is a certified nurse from Kagando School of Nursing and she is currently pursuing a Diploma in Advanced Nursing. She is a passionate community health worker and she enjoys talking to young girls about how to live a healthy and meaningful life. Pamela is excited use her skills to empower young girls to overcome psychosocial challenges and become the change they imagined.
Nyangoma Patricia
Director, Youth Mentorship
Patricia is a certified nurse from Kagando School of Nursing and she is currently pursuing a Diploma in Comprehensive nursing. She is passionate about ensuring good health among young girls and believes that when young people are supported and mentored, they develop the resilience to overcome life’s challenges. At Thrive Uganda, Patricia uses her skills to transform young people.

Kabugho Sylvia
Co-Founder of Thrive Uganda
Sylvia is the Country Director for the Foundation for Community Development and Empowerment (FCDE) in Uganda. She has more than 25 years of experience with nonprofit organizations and is passionate about sustainable development through empowering grassroots community groups. At Thrive Uganda, she will use her skills and experience to help train young people in positive thinking and team building.

Kabugho Sharon
Managing Director for Thrive Uganda.
Sharon holds a first degree in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University. She is the Communication Officer for Kasese District local government and the former Communications Officer at Kasese Community Health and Education Foundation. One of Sharon’s primary interests is communication for social transformation and she is responsible for Branding at Thrive Uganda.
Musoki Bridget
Bridget has a bachelor’s degree in developmental studies from Nkumba University. She has participated in various social research studies on education, women Empowerment and youth employment. She is a social entrepreneur in Kasese town and she trains women to run effective social enterprises using her education and experience. Bridget focuses on training the youth at Thrive Uganda to thrive in business.
Bwambale Godfrey
Godfrey is Social Worker and the Program Director for Karambi Group of People with Disabilities. He is a certified Street Business School Lead Coach, holds a certificate in Permaculture Design from the Permaculture Institute of Tanzania and holds a first degree in social worker and social administration. He is passionate about transforming the lives of persons living with disabilities and transforming communities through Economic Development, Infrastructure Improvements, Social Programs and Environmental Restoration. Godfrey has a physical disability and that doesn’t stop him from playing football.
Kibaba Muhesi Abarham
Muhesi is the current Vector Control Officer for Kasese District Local Government. He contributes to the community’s understanding of public health problems through disaster preparedness, disease surveillance, disease epidemiology and disease control and prevention with clarity to all stakeholders.
